Karachi: Plastic Factory Fire Extinguished After 4 Hours

Karachi (July 7, 2017): The fierce fire at the plastic factory in New Karachi Industrial Area here has been brought under control.

The fire was so fierce that it took four hours to bring it under control, during which building was burnt down.

The staff of the power supplier to Karachi K-Electric also came to the spot and shut down the power connections to help avert losses.

Five fire brigades rushed to the scene of fire that erupted late last night. Snorkel was also summoned later because the fire was intense. Two additional fire brigades also joined the firefighting efforts later.

It took 14 fire brigades and two water bowsers to extinguish the fire.

No loss of life has been reported. Abb Takk News has acquired the footage of the collapsing of the building.
