Karachi: (May 9, 2017 Following the trip of Bin Qasim power plant electricity supply has been suspended from 12 grid station that plunged half of the city into dark.
The areas effected includes Defence, Buffer Zone, Abulhassan Asphani Road, Gulsitan-e-Jouhar, FB Area, Naizmabad, Gulshan Iqbal, Buhaderabad, Gulshan-e-Hadeed and other adjoining areas.
The K-Electric spokesperson said that power supply to affected areas will be restored within an hour.
“Only one portion of Bin Qasim power plant tripped due to low gas pressure, however power supply being restored in affected areas,” K-Electric said.
