Just two days of rain in Karachi has made cattle market situation worsened while four animals killed while spread of diseases in the cattle market feared.
Rains that lashed in Karachi on Saturday and Sunday have disrupted administrative matters of Asia’s biggest cattle market established at Superhighway.
Gusty winds removed tents while rains water inundated here and there and turned into mud. After thundershowers animals were in open sky that killed at least four animals.
After the rains it is feared that fever and itching diseases could be spread in the cattle market animals. The animal traders at the market are looking disturbed.
The traders demanded to the government to do something on urgent basis to bring life at the market normal.
