KARACHI: Karachi has received first ever downpour of this year and light rains are continued to lashed around the city.
Rains are reported in Surjani, Baldiya Town, Metropolis, Defence, FB area and Korangi.
The rain has decreased mercury level and intensified the cold weather throughout the city.
According to the meteorological department a new wave of cold will effect the metropolis while temperature of the city lowered down to 5 to 6 degree centigrade between nights of Jan 15 to 17.
