KARACHI: Rain fell in different parts of the metropolis Karachi in the wee hours of Saturday.
According to the details, Korangi, Liaquatabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, FB Area, Nazimabad, North Nazimabad, North Karachi and other areas of the city received heavy rain. Temperature fell after the rain in the city. People have to go through agony due to power breakdown in some areas.
Pakistan Meteorological Department said in its daily weather report that a westerly wave was affecting Pakistan and the wave likely to persist till Sunday.
Met office predicts rain-thunderstorm at a number of places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Upper Punjab, Islamabad , Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, scattered places in Balochistan, Southern Punjab and Sindh.
Dense fog likely to persist over few plan areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
