Sindh police has acquired ‘Drone technology’to monitor criminals, monitoring of the processions could be easily by six advanced drones and four drone cameras.
Sindh police has got the technology to surveillance criminals and public gatherings and to eyes on movements of robbers in interior Sindh.
According to sources, six advanced drones and four drone cameras have been purchased for police force.However, 30 police officials have got special training sessions to know how to run it on simulators for 40 hours.
Whereas, according to spokesperson, Sindh police has purchased third generation drone named as Sky camp while the cost of drone aircraft equipped with 25 megapixel camera is 15 to 16 lakhs.
Drone aircrafts would be delivered to Karachi range, Hyderabad range, Mirpurkhas range, Shaheed Benazir Abad range, Larkana range, Sukkur range and Special Security units.
