KARACHI: A terrorist killed in encounter with law enforcement agencies in Karachi and seven accused arrested in separate operations against criminals in the metropolis city.
According to the details, Counter Terrorism Department hold a targeted operation in Maripur on a tip-off. The accused opened fire on CTD and resultantly shot and injured in the encounter. He succumbed to his injures on the way to hospital. The accused belonged to banned organization Jundallah. He was identified as Abdulrehman alias Mufti.
While law enforcement agencies conducted operations in different areas of Lyari and arrested three gang-war accused. The gang-war accused affiliated with Uzair Baloch group. They were identified as Sameer alias Kodo, Munawar Balouch and Ahmad Fraz.
On the other hand New Karachi police detained two accused involved street crimes. Police said that Mehmood is involved in street crimes and Faisal is arrested under National Action Plan. Police recovered weapons and mobile phones from the possession of the accused.
Darakhshan police arrested two members of a motorcycle lifter group and recovered motorcycles.
