LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday submitted resolution to Speaker Punjab Assembly to summon special session on Kashmir Day on February 5 in order to express solidarity with Kashmiris.
The resolution was filed by PTI legislator Seemabia Tahir that stated February 5 was the day to express solidarity with innocent Kashmiris in Pakistan and around the world. A session should be summoned to provide strong message of solidarity with Kashmiris.
It was also stated that members of the provincial assembly should be given chance to recall efforts and sacrifices by independence struggle of Indian occupied Kashmir.
