Nation Observes Kashmir Day With Renewed Pledges

ISLAMABAD: Different political and religious parties have organised protests across the country to express solidarity with Kashmiris and outrage against Indian authorities over occupation in Kashmir Valley while observing Kashmir Day on Tuesday.

ISLAMABAD

An event was organised in D-Chowk of federal capital Islamabad to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day. Minister on Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur also attended the event while a large number of citizens also took participation.

Gandapur said that India was neglecting resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for Kashmiris while international community must take notice to resolve the longstanding dispute.

LAHORE

Rallies and public meetings were organised by different political, religious and social parties at Chairing Cross Mall Road in the Punjab capital. Different banners and posters were hanged on Mall Road in support of Kashmiris.

KARACHI

Rallies are being organised by various political, religious parties in the metropolis Karachi to express solidarity with Kashmiris. JI held a major rally at Hassan Square headed by the party head Sirajul Haq. participants chanted slogans against India and in favour of Kashmiri freedom fighters.

PESHAWAR

A large number of citizens attended rallies to express solidarity with Kashmiris organised by Kashmir Front and Motorway Police.

QUETTA

A rally entitled Youm-e-Yakjehti-e-Kashmir’ was en route to Balochistan capital Quetta from Kuchlak while various other organizations were also organising Kashmir-related events.

GILGIT-BALTISTAN

A large number of citizens participated Kashmir-related rally organised in Hameedgarh area of Gilgit while Commander Force Command Northern Areas (FCNA) Major General Ehsan Mehmood, Deputy Commissioner and politicians also attended the event.

Azad Jammu Kashmir

Human chains and protests were also organised in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK)’s Rawalakot, Abbaspur and its suburban areas.

MINORITIES PROTEST AGAINST INDIA

Hindu community carried out rally in Sukkur’s Dharamshala to Clock Tower area to express solidarity with Kashmiris. The protestors said that Kashmir was part of Pakistan and no compromises will be made in this regard.

Moreover, a Kashmir solidarity rally was carried out from DC office in Nankana Sahib to Gurdwara Janam Asthan that was attended by a large number of Sikh youth.
