Kashmir Solidarity Day: One-Minute Silence Observed Across Country

ISLAMABAD: One-minute silence was observed across the country at 10:00am to pay homage to the martyrs of the liberation struggle of Occupied Kashmir.

As Pakistan is observing Kashmir Day on Tuesday, all activities were suspended while observing one-minute silence across the country.

A children rally was organised at Muzaffarabad’s Saheli Sarkar Bridge to Independence roundabout [Azadi Chowk] to show solidarity with Kashmiri children. Participants of the rally formed human chains to show homage to affected and martyred kids by pellet guns in Indian occupied Kashmir.

Special functions, rallies, conferences and seminars are being organised from Karachi to Kashmir not only in state-level institutions but different political and religious parties have also made arrangements to highlight the Kashmir dispute in its scheduled programmes across the country.

Government of Pakistan announced public holiday across the country.
