Kashmiris to take out ‘Azadi March’ in Occupied Kashmir today

SRINAGAR: Kashmiris on the call of Hurriyat Conference will hold ‘Azadi March’ and submit a memorandum at the United Nations’ office in occupied Kashmir today.

According to the Indian media, Hurriyat Conference  Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq , Syed Ali Geelani, Yasin Malik and other leaders appealed the masses in a joint statement to participate in the Azadi March.

The participants of the march will submit a memorandum at the office of UN in Srinagar. The memorandum demanded of the UN to implement its resolution regarding occupied Kashmir and get stopped Indian atrocities in the valley.

According to the plan, Hurriyat leaders will breakout their house arrests and hold march towards UN office in Srinagar after Eid prayers. On the other hand the provincial government imposed curfew in other districts and deployed army to stop the march.
