Karachi (December 4, 2017): Karachi Development Authority’s anti-encroachment department demolished three marriage halls and a school built illegally on amenity plots in Federal B Area locality of the city here today.
KDA’s anti-encroachment drive was kicked off after the order of the Supreme Court which had expressed anger and concerns over the massive encroachment of amenity plots, parks, and spaces reserved for welfare plots, had ordered it to retrieved the amenity plots.
The marriage hall built illegally on the amenity plot was razed in Block-6 of Federal B Area.
The anti-encroachment Department of the KDA also demolished another marriage hall and a school constructed illegally on park land in Block-3 and Block-5 of Federal B Area.
It may be mentioned here that the anti-encroachment team also worked hard yesterday on weekly holiday Sunday and demolished Four Marriage Halls and a building.
KDA’s anti-encroachment team razed four marriage halls and a building during action taken in North Karachi area of the city. The structures were illegally built on welfare plots. KDA has razed encroachments in Sector 5-L and 5-E of North Karachi.
