Finance Minister Ishaq Dar called Leader of Opposition Khursheed Shah who put a list of eight options while government agreed over consultations to decide the procedure for setting up the enquiry commission.
The two leaders discussed about commission over Panama leaks. Khursheed says that he informed Dar about the stance of the opposition.
Khursheed also demanded government writing letter to the Chief Justice for the formation of the judicial commission and also made it clear that the forensic audit will be the procedure of the judicial commission. Khursheed offered that in case the Chief Justice declines a parliamentary committee should be formed. He also asked te government to inform about the decision after consultations.
Meanwhile, sources said that government has said that it is ready for consultations with the opposition over the procedure of the enquiry commission. He also clarified that prime minister will take leaders of all the parliamentary leaders into confidence over the issue.
