ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples’ Party senior leader Khursheed Shah has demanded the government to raise the laborers’ monthly income to Rs 28,000 or Rs 30,000.
Talking to media in Islamabad, PPP senior leader Khursheed Shah said that dollar prices have reached to 150 mark and demanded laborers monthly salary to be raised up to Rs 28,000 or 30,000.
Khursheed Shah said that the PPP policy always remained laborer friendly adding that the PPP had raised the laborers’ salary Rs 15,000 and it was not revised till then.
He said that only laborers friendly policy will make our politics successful adding that the country’s politicians always expressed sympathy to masses before elections and after elections, they started fighting each other.
The former opposition leader said that the politicians talked of giving rights to laborers before elections and after elections, they throw the poor of the country in a wall of hunger.
He said that the politicians should care about it as our politics are for them and if we killed the laborer from hunger then we will also die hungry.
