Jadav Issue: Shah claims PM might have sent message through Jindal

Islamabad (May 19, 2017): Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah on Friday claimed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif  might have sent message to India through Indian steel magnate Sajjan Jindal that Army was behind the Kulbhushan’s episode.

Talking to Media at Parliament House Shah said that government’s inefficiency was evident over Kulbhushan issue, saying that the government should have sent Attorney General for Pakistan to plead its case at International Court of Justice (ICJ) .

Shah said: “My sixth sense says that Nawaz Sharif would have sent a message through Jindal that Pakistan Army is behind the on the Indian RAW’s spy issue episode.”

He added that Kulbhushan issue was relating to national security and the ICJ decision had raised many a doubts.

He added that government inefficiency over the issue was evident, saying that ICJ decision was a shock for Pakistanis.  “The nation needs to take a decision now. The Army said that it engaged the lawyer but it has no experience to deal with court issues. The government must have sent the AGP to The Hague to plead the case.”

Shah blamed the government wants to give walkover to India by sitting as a silent spectator.  He said that the government tried to keep Jindal visit a secret.

He insisted that during Prime Minister-Jindal meeting Kulbhushan issue must have came under discussion.

He criticized the government for not appointing a full-fledged Foreign Minister, saying that had there been a Foreign Minister he would have taken his own decision.

The Opposition leader also demanded of the government to present Dawn Leak’s inquiry report in the National Assembly.
