Islamabad: Khawaja Asif, stalwart of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML) has declared statement given by the Governor State Bank of Pakistan as political and demanded to give him a shut up call.

On a point of objection the PML-N leader Khawaja Asif declared statement of the Governor State Bank of Pakistan regarding benefits of the increase in the dollar rates as his relentlessness adding that Raza Baqir is not running the country instead he is defaulting the country and demanded to give him a shut up call.
Federal Minister Umar Ayub Khan, regarding the increase in the dollar rates, said that the PML-N took loan of 23.6 billion dollars to keep the dollar rates stable while the PML-N destroyed the country’s economy by taking loans from the SBP repeatedly.
The Ministry of finance in its written answered apprised that the rupee reduced by 8.8 Rs against the dollar price during three and 18 days of current fiscal year. While current account deficit remained 2 billion 29 caroor dollar during the first two months of the current fiscal year.
He added that last year in the same period the current account was in surplussed of 83 Caroor and 80 lakh dollars
.
In an effort of the government to legislate, the opposition’s PPP law maker Naveed Qamar pointed towards the quorum,. To which the session has been prorogued for indefinite time.
