The famous actor has a strong connection with one of the renowned Indian television actors of 2000’s, Smriti Irani, more commonly known as Tulsi Virani of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

You may be wondering what kind of connection exists between these two famed stars. Apart from the fact that both belong to New Delhi, the two share a connection through Smriti’s husband, Iranian businessman Zubin Irani, who is SRK’s childhood friend.

Smriti, who recently joined the photo and video sharing app Instagram, posted a picture of her step-daughter Shanelle. Shahrukh Khan also shared the picture and revealed the connection that he shares with Smriti and her daughter Shanelle. The famed Bollywood actor said in his Instragram post that he was the one to name the child Shanelle. King Khan wrote, “My childhood friend Zubin’s daughter all grown up and so pretty… and just for the record I named her Shanelle.”
Smriti had married Zubin in 2001 after Zubin divorced his first wife Mona Irani. Shanelle is Zubin’s child from his first wife, but is now looked after by Smriti Irani. The famed TV actor Smriti gave birth to her first child, Zohr in October 2001, and later gave birth to a girl, Zoish.

Smriti made her Instagram debut a week back and has been witnessed as quite active on the picture sharing app.
