King of Ghazals Mehndi Hassan’s fourth death anniversary has once again pulled the music lovers in his memorable songs as his ghazals used to increase the heartbeat of his fans.
Mehndi Hassan, the master of lyrics, was born on July 18, 1927 in Rajisthan and started his profession career in 1957 from Radio Pakistan and then never turned back as he had gained unfinished popularity in music world.
The lovers said, on his anniversary, after Mehndi Hassan the world music has become silent and sad as his space could not be filled in centuries. Following four years of his death no musical ceremony, particularly Mehfal-e-Ghazal, is not completed and as his songs started playing it melts heart of lovers.
He was the treasure of musical world whereas his skills of music had multiplied as the passage of time. Ghazal or national songs all are his creation of love and patriotism that make the place in one’s heart.
Mehndhi Hassan’s songs were the heart of Pakistani movies which enforced the movie watchers to come cinema time and again.
His skills had been recognized not only on country’s level but internationally as well and he was awarded several awards like, Nishan-e-Imtiaz, Tamgh-e-Imtiaz and pride of performance and many others.
He was severely fell ill with throat cancer that became more dangerous in 1999 and compelled him not to sing more songs. The illness had plunged him in deep trouble and he has lost his breath on June 13,2012 and left the fans in deep sorrow.
