PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Punjab Mahmood Khan has said that the government keeping in mind difficulties faced by the poor, daily wagers, lower strata of the society and business community, has approved a relief package of worth Rs 32 billion.
The CM said that the government besides the relief package will also spend on masses if needed from the yearly development funds.
Mahmood Khan said that the government timely action to contain the coronavirus has resulted into encouraging signs while overall situation in the province is under control. However, the government is all prepared to tackle any unexpected situation.
He once again appealed the people of the province to cooperate fully with the government being the responsible citizens.
