PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly on Monday passed a resolution strongly condemning terror attack on two mosques in New Zealand, in which 50 Muslims died.
As the session started in the chair of speaker Mushtaq Ghani, the members started a debate on New Zealand terror incident as most of the members have the view that the killer being tried to save by declaring him mentally distorted.
The ANP member Sardar Babak said that the although the incident was regrettable, however, at the same time the show of dance and music was held in the concluding ceremony of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), it should be turned into simple ceremony.
He mentioned that the silence of the government over the Khasoor incident was criminal as the tarnishing of Chadar and Chardieari was not be tolerated.
MMA’s Anyatullah alleged that the centre was stealing the 500-megawatt electricity of the province that should be stopped earliest.
Later, the session has adjourned till tomorrow at 3:00 pm.
