Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has sent the audio of commission scandal of sacked minister Ajmal Wazir for forensic test through which it will be confirmed whether it is a fake or real.
Chief Minister KP Akram Khan has ordered Chief Secretary to carry out an inquiry of the matter, however, Chief Secretary don’t have powers to conduct an inquiry against cabinet member, in this scenario it is decided to carry out the inquiry from any investigation agency.
Sources said that Cheif Secretary KP Kazim Raza has sent a summary to the CM informing that which investigation institutes can hold an inquirty into the matter.
In the light of the summary of Chief Secretary the CM KP will hand over the inquiry to anti-corruption or FIA. It is likely that high officers of other departments can be included in the inquiry committee.
On the other hand, according to an information, the Chief Secretary has called ex-secretaries information to his office to have consultation on the matter.
It is learnt that the CM KP has presented all the evidences against Ajmal Wazir before Prime Minister Imran Khan before initiating action against the minister. Prime Minister Imran Khan by seeing all the evidences has approved action against Ajmal Wazir.
