Karachi/Peshawar (August 24, 2017): The resolution in Sindh assembly was tabled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) members Samar Ali, Khurram Sher Zaman and Seema Zia. PTI resolution pertained the protest and condemnation of Trump anti-Pakistan statement.
President Trump on Tuesday cleared the way for the deployment of five thousand more US troops to Afghanistan Monday, backtracking from his promise to rapidly end America´s longest war, while pillorying ally Pakistan for offering safe haven to “agents of chaos.”
Talking to media after tabling resolution, Khurram Sher Zaman said that Trump thinks that Pakistan is like Afghanistan but that was his blunder as Pakistan has laid down more sacrifices than any other county in war against terrorism.
Meantime, the same resolution was tabled in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KP) by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) terming Trump statement proved his madness.
The resolution also pertained that the sacrifices laid down by Pakistan armed forces in war against terrorism could not be ignored as the threats hurled by the US president a clear proved his madness.
It also demanded that government should evolved common foreign policy and told US that Pakistan would not come under its threats.
