Peshawar (May 12, 2017): KPK assembly has condemned the Mastung blast and members held prayer for the dead and termed the it a cowardly act.
The KPK assembly session proceeding starts in the chair of Deputy Speaker Mehr Roghani. Members condemning the Mastung blast observed prayer for the dead and immediate recovery of the inured.
Members termed the blast not only attack on Deputy Chairman Senate Abdul Ghafooer Haidri but also attack on state that showed the vulnerability of the government before the terrorists.
Assembly also approved the vaccination amendment bill today. Later the session was adjourned due to lack of quorum till Monday.
At least 25 people were killed and 30 injured in a blast on Friday targeting Deputy Chairman Senate and JUI-F leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri’s convoy in Mastung area in Balochistan.
