PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mahmood Khan on Wednesday condemned the attack on Pakistan Army’s check post by Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) and termed it as a ‘shameful act.’
According to details, CM KPK visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar and inquired the health of army soldiers who got injured in a result of check post attack at North Waziristan
He said, “The attack on a check post of Pakistan Army by PTM was shameful.”
“Waziristan is moving towards prosperity after witnessing terrorism for the last 15 years. The anti-state elements will be controlled completely in future. We will remove deprivation of tribal people and will include them in the development process,” he added.
CM KPK has rejected the demand of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for issuance of a production order for arrested Member of National Assembly (MNA) Ali Wazir.
On the occasion, CM Mahmood Khan also announced compensation for the families of deceased and injured.
