Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has called All Parties Conference (APC) on June 9 against alleged irregularities in municipal elections, federal minister Shah Farman said that those parties who would not attend the conference are involved in rigging.
While addressing in an emergency press conference from Chief Minister house, Shah Farman said that conducting municipal election is the responsibility of the government, while it is the responsibility of Election Commission to make it fair, whereas APC has been called on June 9 (tomorrow). In which it would be decide after consensus by political parties whether to seek re-election or to establish joint investigation.
Whereas, federal minister said that those who are asking resignation from PTI government, should ask federal government for resignation first, such as, provincial government is interested to conduct polls under the supervision of the army and judicial.
In regards to protest by opposition parties, he said that conducting a peaceful protest is the right of every one, while KP government would not stop any one.
