LAHORE: Lady Health Workers announced to stage sit-in outside the Punjab Assembly on March-1 in favor of their demands.
They were of the view that Punjab government did not comply with its promises about Service Structure. National Program Health Employees Association Punjab President Rukhsana Anwar said that they will hold sit-in outside the provincial assembly at any coast. She said that they were not given their dues for last two and half years. Rukhsana said that they were not paid for Anti Dengue Program.
The president said that the government turned the cadre of Lady Heath Workers into a dying cadre. She said that program director and provincial minister for primary health have nothing to do with their demands. Rukhsana demanded individual letter of regularization for each lady health worker
