Lahore (August 11, 2017): Sixteen suspects were arrested during search operation in various areas of Lahore and Multan cities in Punjab.
According to details, 12 suspects were arrested and shifted to Qila Gujar Singh during a search operation jointly conducted by police and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) in and around Haji Camp, Lunda Bazaar, and Shafiqabad areas here. The operation was led by SP Civil Lines Ali Raza.

Truck stands, houses, and factories were searched during the operation.
During the search operation conducted joint by police and LEAs including Rangers the particulars of the area residents were checked and the above 12 suspects were arrested for failing to verify complete particulars.
Particulars of over 200 people were verified through the biometric device during the operation.
Meanwhile, in Multan four suspects were arrested during a search operation conducted by police and Joint Task Team in Ramkali and surrounding area within the limits of Mumtazabad police station.

A house-to-house search was conducted after the sealing of the said area. A total of 130 houses were searched during the operation. Four suspects identified as Osama, Naveed Imran, Muhammad Asif, an Muhammad Arsalan were arrested after two unregistered illegal motorcycles were recovered from their possession.
