Lahore: A blast has happened in Jauhar Town of Lahore which claimed three lives and 23 injured while injured included children, women and police personnel.
All the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital. While type of the blast is being ascertained.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar taking notice of the blast has called a report from the Inspector General (IG) Punjab. The CM also instructed to provide every help to the injured persons.
The IG Punjab has declared the blast a terrorist activity while 15 to 20 kg explosive material used in the blast. The foreign explosive material used in the blast, he added.
The sound of the blast was heard far and wide while glasses of the nearby houses also shattered.
