Lahore: BZU canal campus student’s protest continue on 2nd day

Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU )canal campus student continued to sit-in on second day against not receiving their degrees while students said that their sit-in will be continued till demands are fulfilled.

The (BZU) student demanded from Higher Education Commission (HEC) to give legal status to their degrees and issuance of enrollment card.

The BZU canal campus has as many as 4360 students of whom 600 students are not been given degrees. The students said that their career will be in doldrums  if degrees not issued to them.

The HEC deputy secretary and the University administration have ensured to students for talks with them and fulfill their demands within 10 days. But students sticking to their demands said that the protest will be continued until their demands is fulfilled.

On the other side traffic system has paralyzed  due to the sit-in on canal road and citizens were facing immense difficulty.
