LAHORE: Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza of Lahore High Court has ordered expunging Ali Musa Gilani’s name from the Exit Control List.
Gilani had argued that Interior Ministry has added his name in the ECL in the ephedrine quota case for the last four-and-half years while no progress has been made in the case.
The counsel of Interior Ministry told the court that if Gilani’s name was expunged from the ECL he could flee overseas thereby impacting the trial of the ephedrine case.
After hearing both the parties the court ordered expunging of Ali Musa Gilani’s name from the ECL.
