Lahore police chalks out strategy for security of PTI rally

Lahore police has chalked out strategy for security of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) rally on May 1st. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) police Hyder Ashraf said that as many as two thousand police personnel will be deployed for the security of the rally and the police personnel will also be deployed at path leading to rally venue.

On other hand, PTI will held its rally at Charing Cross at all cost. The PTI leader Shoaib Siddique said that ” we will not be threatened on threats and fulfill  code of conduct set by the police for the rally.”

The PTI leader Shoaib Siddique and DIG operations Dr Hyder Ashraf visited the venue of rally at Charing Cross Lahore. Talking to media the DIG operations said that fool proof security measures will be taken. He said that the police wanted that the rally be organized at close location but the PTI did not agree to police wish.

The DIG also said that police has allowed the PTI workers to fix banners at Mall Road.

At the occasion the PTI leader said that on the day the people will be on the road against corruption. The rulers have know that it is time to leave adding that besides police personnel, the PTI volunteers will also deployed for the security of the rally.
