Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Khan has said that as many as 1000 schools teams will participate in Kardar Cup.
The Chairman PCB said that work on verification of age in cricket is on while in future under 19 and under 16 player will be selected as per exact age.
Talking to media man in Lahore gymkhana ground the Chairman PCB said that new players should amply concentrate on fielding and fitness adding that new generation is future of Pakistan and soon Universities championship will be held.
He said that in past all big players came from Universities adding that win or loss is part of the game and training to new players are Vital.
Khan said that private school students will also be part of the Kardar cup and today’s youth will be seen tomorrow in grounds.
