Larkana: Rally Held to Mark Int’l Anti-Corruption Day

Larkana (December 7, 2017): A large number of people participated in the  rally against corruption to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day which is being observed across the globe today.

The rally started from in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Larkana and terminated at Shahnawaz Library after making rounds across many streets.

Among others Deputy Commissioner Kashif Tipu, Deputy Director Anti-Corruption Altaf Leghari as well as various Scouts organizations, journalists, ordinary citizens, and school children participated in the rally themed “Say No To Corruption”.

Talking on the occasion Deputy Commissioner Kashif Tipu said that eradication of corruption is a must for the progress and development of the country. Each one of us has to play his/her role for the eradication of the cancer of corruption for the progress and development of our country and society, they added.

Deputy Director Anti-Corruption Altaf Leghari stressed upon the need to inculcate the habit of earning the money only through legal ways by hard and honest working to save oneself and one’s family from defamation. This is also imperative because money earned through any other means strengthens incompetency and buries merit.

Calling corruption and bribe oppression and curse he added that it would also be punished severely by God on the Day of Judgment. All of us should raise their voice against this curse  of corruption to help eradicate it forever.
