MIRPUR MATHELO: The last rites of a BDS final-year medical student Nimrita Kumari has been performed in her native town in Mirpur Mathelo on Tuesday.
The body of Nimrita was brought to the Shamshan Ghat. A large number of people of Hindu community attended the last rites of the deceased.
The sense of grief had spilled over to the town of Mirpur Mathelo by last night as news of Nimrita’s death emerged.
After performing the last rituals, Nimrita’s brother Dr Vishal and her uncle said that they offered prayers to God to not put anybody in such situation.
Declaring the incident a murder, Dr Vishal said announced to undergo an autopsy of his sister to reveal the real facts.
“We appealed PM Imran and chief justice to provide justice,” Dr Vishal said.
Earlier, Nimrita Kumari had found dead under mysterious circumstances in a hostel room of Bibi Asifa Dental College in Larkana on Monday.
