Islamabad (July 9, 2017): The meeting of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the Panama case is underway at Federal Judicial Academy here.
With one day left in the deadline tomorrow for JIT to submit its report tomorrow. The JIT is busy preparing its findings that will be included in the report.
The six-member JIT team will appear before the Supreme Court headed by Wajid Zia.
The JIT took only a single day-off on Eid-ul-Fitr. The JIT members also worked till late last night.
The report is being written by two members of the JIT.
Meanwhile, the security of JIT members has further been beefed up. The JIT members will arrive at the Supreme Court under stringent security tomorrow.
It may be mentioned here that Abbtakk News has acquired the details of documents submitted by the son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz to Joint Investigation Team (JIT) that contained the 23 relevant documents in book shape.
According to the documents Hussain Nawaz’s documents comprised of 136 pages and 23 relevant documents including details of his business, heir and other assets, Affidavit of Tariq Shafi, profile of Qatari Prince Sheikh Hammad Bin Jassam and copy of his letter to Supreme Court written on December 22, 2016.
The details also carry the credentials of sale and purchase agreement of Azizia Steel Plant and the copy of a cheque of Saudi-Holland bank costing 21.2 million and 35 thousands Saudi Riyal.
It is to be mentioned here that Hussain had appeared before the JIT for six times and faced hours long session of questioning by the team. Other members of his family including his father Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his brother Hassan Nawaz and sister Maryam Nawaz, and uncle Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif appeared before the JIT.
