The heat waves around most cities of Punjab have cooled down as torrential rains and thunderstorms hit the province late night on Monday-Tuesday night.
The heavy rains with lightning still continued in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sharaqpur, Shiekhupura, Gunjranwala, Chiniot and Qusur.
On the other hand, meteorological department has predicted further rains on Tuesday (today).
On the other side, storm, thunder storm have exposed the performance of LESCO as just first rains of the season more than 200 feeders have tripped, after that many areas of the city were out of electricity.
The rains resulted into destruction as well as roof of a house collapsed in Chiniot injuring six including five children, another roof collapse incident reported in Faisalabad however not any human loss or harm reported.
