Four more succumbed to death in hospital, death toll has reached 17 in Layyah, while 27 people are still under treatment in various hospitals.
More than 40 people, who had toxic sweets in Crore Laal Eesan in area of Layyah, are still admitted in different hospitals including Nishtar Hospital Multan, Allied Hospital Faisalabad and District Hospital Layyah.
According to police, six brothers have also lost their lives after eating toxic sweet, funeral prayer of 10 people was offered yesterday, where a large number of neighbors and relatives were gathered, all died people were buried in local graveyard.
