Karachi (August 19, 2017): Two suspected terrorists affiliated with a banned outfit were killed in shootout during an intelligence based operation jointly conducted by Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and Rangers at Noorani Basti ,Korangi in early hours of Saturday.
While talking to media, CTD in-charge Umer Khitab said that an intelligence based operation carried out in search of suspected terrorists at Noorani Basti in Korangi 2 1/2 area when the cops entered a house the terrorists restored to firing and after a heavy exchange of fire two terrorists were killed. He said Rangers personnel were also participated in the operation.

CTD in-charge in-charge said that weapons and explosive material were recovered from the terrorists. Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) also carried out door to door search operation in the area so as to arrest their accomplices.
