LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday called off a bail petition of Khawaja Brothers in the paragon scandal without any action until April 11.
A two-member bench of the LHC headed by Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmed Khan had to take action in the bail petition but a judge of the bench was busy in a full bench hearing for which no progress could be made in the petition and the hearing was canceled.
It is pertinent to mention here that Khawaja Brothers have been arrested in the paragon housing society scandal.
On which, Khawaja Brothers knocked the LHC doors and filed the bail petition for their release. The bail petition mentioned that anti-corruption body of the country National Accountability Bureau (NAB) failed to prove allegations on them while the NAB has been provided with all the record.
The bench will hear the case on April 11.
