LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench has declared the execution of four criminals illegal and ordered immediate their release.
According to reports, LHC Rawalpindi bench has declared the execution of four criminals involved in suicide blast at Rawalpindi’s Imambargah Shah-E-Najaf.
The hearing of the appeal filled convicts, seeking that to reinvestigate the decision of Trial court, two member bench including Justice Ibadur Reham and Qazi Mohammad Amin declared the execution of four
Fazah Hameed, Tahir Ullah, Hafiz Naeem and Tahir Hussain were allegedly involved in suicide blast cast at Rawalpindi’s Imambargah Shah-E-Najaf .
In the appeal they stated that Trial court had not investigated important claws before giving the decision.
The bench passed orders to release Fazah Hameed, Tahir Ullah, Hafiz Naeem and Tahir Hussain involved in suicide blast by declaring the decision illegal.
On 26 February 2004 trial court sentenced four criminals to death.
