LAHORE: A petition on Thursday was filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) against federal government’s decision of hiking the petrol prices by Rs5.15.
The petition was filed by Advocate Azhar Siddique, making federal government, OGRA, Ministry for Petroleum and others as respondents.
In his petition, Advocate Azhar has termed the action of hike as “an outlaw”, adding that pleas were already pending in LHC against government for raising prices of petroleum products, therefore, the cost cannot be raised until court concludes hearing on the previously filed petitions.
