Slain associate professor of Government science college Lahore, Rao Altaf has been laid to rest in local graveyard of Jauhar Town in Lahore.
His funeral prayers were attended by his colleagues professors, lecturers , students and large number of area residents.
The students also staged protest as killers have not been arrested yet and demanded that the killers must be punished.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Iqbal Town ensured that the culprits will be arrested soon on the DSP assurance the student ended the protest.
