BRUSSELS: Leaders of Liberal Democrats Party (LBP) called on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Brussels wherein bilateral relations of Pakistan and European Union (EU), economic cooperation and matters of mutual interest were discussed.
The delegation included members of European Parliament Philip Benen, Shafaq Muhammad, Zaffar Haqq and Hussain Khan.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi congratulated LBP members over victory in the recently held election in EU while he said that Pakistan gives importance to its relations with the EU adding that Pakistan is going to start a new chapter in relations after signing of the new strategic plan.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that in a manner European Parliament raised its voice against gross human rights violation in Occupied Kashmir and jolted world conscience by approving a unanimous resolution against it, is worthy of praise.
The LBP leaders ensured Foreign Minister Qureshi every possible cooperation in promotion of trade and other matters of mutual interest between Pakistan and the European Union.
