Karachi (June 15, 2018): Residents of various areas of the city experienced light drizzle early Friday morning, a few hours after the last sehri of the holy month of Ramazan.
The weather turned pleasant and multiple areas of the metropolis, including I.I. Chundrigar Road, Nazimabad, University Road, Mosamiyat, and Gulistan-e-Johar, welcomed light rain.
Earlier, Met Office had forecast a pre-monsoon spell of rains in different parts of the country from Saturday.
According to the Director Met Dr. Khalid Mahmood Malik said Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the central and upper divisions of Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan will receive rains.
Intermittent rains will also occur in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
The Director Met said this spell of rains will continue throughout this month.
