Nawaz Sharif Is Fit, Sound: Caretaker Home Minister Punjab

Lahore (July 24, 2018): Caretaker Home Minister Punjab, Shaukat Javed said on Tuesday that Air-Conditioner has been installed in the jail room of Nawaz Sharif and food from his own home have also been allowed.

Addressing a presser in Lahore, the caretaker Home Minister Punjab said that according to the doctors, the health of former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif is stable, his tests are underway, will decide later about his shifting to the hospital.

Punjab’s Caretaker Law Minister, Zia Hyder Rizvi addressing on the occasion, former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain Retired Safdar will be allowed to cast their vote as per jail rules.

Referring to the matter of CNICs found from the garbage Dump from NA-125, the caretaker Ministers said that NADRA has been asked to investigate into the matter.

Medical Board Clears Reports Of Nawaz Sharif

A medical board formed to ascertain the health of the Former PM, Nawaz Sharif said on Tuesday that health of former PM is satisfactory his all reports all clear.

During their visit, which lasted approximately 2.5 hours, the doctors conducted another check-up of the premier. They also carried out medical tests and briefed Nawaz on his medical condition, sources said.

The medical board also apprised the jail administration of Nawaz’s condition and instructed the authorities to monitor his vitals including blood pressure and sugar levels at regular intervals.

CNICs In Huge Quantity Found From Garbage Dump In NA-125

Just before a day of the election, three bags full of Computerised National Identity Cards found next to a garbage dump in Shafiqabad locality of the city on Tuesday.

Three bags full of CNICs were discovered by trash pickers in the early hours of the day, said Police.

Upon inquiry, it was discovered the cards belonged to the residents of the area, according to sources.

The area falls under the NA-125 constituency of Lahore from where Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Yasmin Rashid is contesting the election against Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz’s Waheed Alam.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has demanded from the election commission to take notice of the matter.The police have taken the bags into custody and have launched an inquiry into the incident.
