President of Pakistan Visits Mazar-e-Quaid

Karachi (September 15, 2018): President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi visited Mazar-e-Quaid, on his visit to Karachi, to pay homage to the Father of the Nation. . The president laid a floral wreath at Quaid’s mausoleum, offered fateha and prayed for prosperity and progress of the country. He also inked his remarks on the visitors’ book.

According to details, President of the country, Dr. Arif Alviw as accompanied by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Sindh Minister for Local Government Saeed Ghani.

He even penned his remarks on the visitors book, as the President of country, on the occasion.

He arrived in Karachi last night and was received by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Governor Imran Ismail and other significant personalities. Instead of travelling from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), he preferred a private flight for his journey. Despite refusing to accept protocol, his caravan included large number of vehicles.He was taken to his residence in Muhammad Ali society from the airport’s VIP lounge. His caravan included at least 42 vehicles. Shahrah-e-Faisal and other adjacent roads were closed for traffic and were opened after the president has passed from the area. PTI’s leader Haleem Adil Sheikh said in a briefing that  protocol of President use to be of 16 cars previously, which has been reduced to three only.

Prime Minister Imran Khan is also expected in Karachi tomorrow. He will arrive in Karachi on Sunday for the first time since assuming the office of the Premier.

During his day-long stay, PM Imran Khan will visit the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and offer Fateha besides presiding over meeting on law and order and ongoing projects, being executed with the assistance of the federation.Prime Minister will chair all the meetings at State Guest House instead of Governor House.

Late on Sunday, Prime Minister will participate in fundraising dinner at Governor House and after that, he will return to Islamabad.
