Government has once again claimed that with addition of 10 thousand 400 mw electricity till 2018 will end load shedding from the country completely in a briefing to ambassadors regarding energy sector.
Giving a briefing to foreign ambassadors, civil society and media persons representatives the federal minister for water and power Khawaja Asif informed that through concrete strategy collection of powers dues 91 billion rupees were saved and other 10 billion rupees saved through reducing line losses.
The minister said that industries have been provided with uninterrupted power supply and load shedding hours for home customers were reduced to 6 to 7 hours.
He said that power production reached to 17000 mw previous day which is a record in the country history.
Chairman National Highway Authority (NHA) informed that worked on as many as 13 motorway projects is underway adding that length of motorway was 580 km back in 2013 which will reach to 1800 km in 2018.
