Lok Sabha Election: Polling Process Underway For Final Phase

NEW DELHI: Voting for the ‘Final Phase’ of India’s Lok Sabha Election is underway today (Sunday).

Candidates are contesting on eight states to choose representatives on 59 seats. At least 100 million will use their right to vote to choose the government.

The authorities have set up at least 1.1 million polling stations for the Final Phase of Lok Sabha Elections.

States which are going to vote in the Final Phase of Lok Sabha Elections are Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand. On the other hand, several candidates are in the line of contention to claim the hot seat of Chandigarh.

The contesting candidates will compete in the polling process on 13 seats of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, eight seats of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, nine seats of West Bengal, four seats of Himachal Pradesh and three seats of Jharkhand are being contested of the Final Phase.

Lok Sabha election

It is pertinent to mention here that Lok Sabha Elections in India were started on May 23. The polling process was comprised of seven rounds. The results will be announced on May 23. The leaders of both major parties of India are hopeful of their success.
