London (September 01, 2018): Man involved in British Prime Minister, Theresa May’s murder plot, has been jailed for life.

According to details, a man who plotted to kill the British Prime Minister in a suicide attack has been sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 30 years. 21 year-old, Naa’imur Zakariyah Rahman, is from north London.Rahman who was convicted last month of preparing acts of terrorism, was captured by an undercover operation involving the Metropolitan Police and FBI.
He had planned to detonate a bomb at the gates of Downing Street and then kill Theresa May with a knife or gun.Sentencing him life-prison, Mr. Justice Haddon-Cave said that Rahman would have carried out his attack had he not been arrested. He was arrested moments after collecting a bag and jacket from an undercover operative that he believed had been fitted with explosives.
Last year, United Kingdom security forces foiled suicide bomb plot to assassinate the Prime Minister Theresa May. It was learnt that two suspected men were conspiring to attack Downing Street armed with an improvised bomb, suicide vest and knives.
According to details, it was the 22nd foiled plot since March as hundreds of terrorist suspects remain under investigation.
