Famed and outspoken Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt, his wife, and actress daughter Aalia Bhatt have received death threat.
According to Indian media Mahesh Bhatt has lodged a FIR against the death threats to him and his family.
Mahesh is being threatened to pay Rs 5 million in extortion money or he and his family members will be murdered.
It may be mentioned here that Despite the stubbornness and threats of militant Indians Mahesh Bhatt has expressed determination to work with Pakistani artists whom he has contacted yet again.
According to Indian media Mahesh Bhatt contacted Pakistani singers Ali Zafar and Shafqat Amanat Ali over peace-theme stage drama ‘Milnay Do” . Ali Zafar has agreed while Shafqat Amanat Ali has agreed to sing the song for free.
Mahesh Bhatt will direct “Milnay Do” will be staged in Delhi on June 8 and on June 23 in Mumbai.
